Starting thoughts

So a little over four years ago I found out that I have PCOS. It's becoming a bigger and bigger struggle as the years go. Weight loss is probably the biggest struggle and after reading other forums and blogs I'm not the only one. After my middle child was born I did P90x and lost some weight but my life was extremely limited with what I ate and my schedule was hard to keep up with since I had to get up and workout in the morning before the kids got up. I was also on Metformin which helped with the weight loss. I had a little upset stomach but that was pretty much it. After going thru another miscarriage I started gaining the weight back. I got pregnant with my third kiddo not too long after that and had a difficult pregnancy. Two months after having the baby I started working on loosing the baby weight again and have been in the worst struggle ever. No matter what I do it won't come off and now I'm back on the Metformin and struggling with nausea. Needing an outlet for this I decided that starting up this blog might be a good idea. Since PCOS is genetic there's a good chance my girls might have this problem too and feeling the need to write down what I went thru might be for them. I have no idea if anyone is going to read this but it would be nice if this helped anyone else out there. Right now I've started a low carb high protein diet and am hoping to start P90x again soon or something similar. I'm a foodie and have lived the extremely strict diets before and hated life. I'm hoping to find some balance and share what I learn and deal with.
